October 2026 Newsletter: Fall Show Season, Q3 Standouts & More from Round Top

October 2026 | A Letter from the Owners

There’s an energy in Round Top each fall that reminds us why this place is so special. The show brings people here from all over, but what makes them want to return is the community they discover along the way.

As we welcome another season of visitors, we also want to thank our clients, agents, and neighbors for being part of Round Top Real Estate. It is a privilege to introduce people to this area and to help those who already call it home take their next step.

If you’re visiting for the show, please come see us. We’d love to hear what you’ve found, share a few favorite local stops, and help you get to know the communities beyond the show fields.

The Round Top fall shopping season is much more than a single weekend. Blue Hills welcomes shoppers October 17–31, while the Original Round Top Antiques Fair at the Big Red Barn runs October 25–31. Other venues offer opportunities to browse throughout the month, so check each venue’s schedule as you make your plans.

Our Round Top office will be a hub for information during the show. Stop by for local recommendations, help getting oriented, or simply to say hello. We look forward to seeing you!

Please join us in congratulating our third-quarter 2026 top producers! Their dedication to their clients and knowledge of our local markets made an impact throughout the summer.

We’re proud of the care and expertise each brings to the people and places we serve. Please join us in celebrating Emily, Adam and Keith!

Emily Shaw

Fayette County roots, a whole lot of heart, and a gift for getting things done. A third-generation local, Emily knows the people and places that make this area feel like home. She brings that same personal connection and steady determination to every client she serves. Congratulations on your #1 Q3 ranking, Emily—we’re so proud to celebrate you!

Adam Mayer

Six generations of Fayette County roots—and he still loves helping others put down their own. Adam pairs a Texas A&M agribusiness education with hands-on ranching experience, giving buyers and sellers a thoughtful guide to farm and ranch property. Way to go, Adam! We’re delighted to celebrate your #2 Q3 ranking.

Keith Brown

Keith knows the best transactions begin with a great conversation. After 35 years of owning property in Round Top, he now calls it home full-time. His luxury-hospitality background shines through in the calm, attentive way he cares for clients. Cheers to your #3 Q3 ranking, Keith—and to making people feel at home along the way!

Save the date for a fall photo session at our La Grange office on October 23. Photographer Leanne Faldyn is scheduled from 3–6 p.m., with a complimentary print provided. R&R Shaved Ice is scheduled from 1–6 p.m. We’d love to see you there!

We recently gathered at The Red Antler in Round Top (co-owned by our very own agent John Cone) for an Agent Appreciation celebration. The talented Robert Paul Jr. created live portraits of our agents, adding a personal and memorable touch to the occasion. It was a wonderful chance to spend time together and thank our team for the heart, dedication, and care they bring to their clients and our community every day. We’re so grateful for this crew!

We were proud to support La Grange Oktoberfest and Wine & Whiskey Weekend earlier this month. These gatherings remind us how much we love being part of this community. Thank you to everyone who helped make them special!

We also gathered for a baby shower honoring Brittni Adams and her baby boy. It was a sweet chance to celebrate Brittni and surround her growing family with love and good wishes. Congratulations, Brittni! We’re so happy for you!
