There’s no doubt Lisa Mayer is a Texan – inside and out! Her welcoming personality and love of the land come from her Grimes County roots, while husband, Monty, a 5th generation Fayette County resident, is not only her partner in life but an additional resource who adds unique insight to the area.
Lisa began her real estate career as a Sales Associate in 1986, earned her Broker License in 1988 and joined Round Top Real Estate in 1996. She has a BBA in Marketing from Texas A&M and further enhanced her career by graduating from the Texas Realtors Leadership Program in 2011.
In 2017 Lisa realized a dream when, along with her partners Lilla Blackburn Sivek and Frank Hillbolt, she purchased Round Top Real Estate from the founders. The dream grew when her son Adam and daughter Claire Mayer Zapalac joined the brokerage. The Mayer Team joined together to reflect Lisa’s strong work ethic, family values and commitment to community. This results in Lisa being a consistent Top Producer in both transactions and volume.
Lisa served as President and Secretary of the South Central Board of Realtors and was voted Realtor of the Year in 2011 and 2017. The Fayette County Record readers voted Lisa Best Real Estate Agent 2020-2024. She is honored that her colleagues, clients and community members chose her for these accolades.
Lisa puts her heart and hands into making her community a better place, whether it’s at the Round Top Carmine ISD Education Foundation, the Carmine Lions Club, Festival Hill Institute or the Round Top Family Library. She is also a supporter of the Round Top-Warrenton Fire Department, Round Top Rifle Hall and numerous other Fayette County organizations.
