GETTING TO KNOW ROUND TOP: ROUND TOP WINE FEST

Along with the rest of America, the start of fall cues an avalanche of activities in Round Top. Immediately following the Antique Show is a special little weekend: the Round Top Wine Fest.

Just like during the show, tons of people come to Round Top to enjoy this fun weekend, and of course we are more than happy to support wine consumption this event….for the community of course.

Enjoying the Wine Fest

To get the full experience, you’ll want to take part in all three days of the event. Friday night is the kick-off with live music and a fun wine dinner. Saturday starts with a Wine Trail beginning at 11:00 that will take you in and around Round Top.

The event closes on Sunday with several restaurants in the area offering delicious brunch items. Yep, you heard that right. BRUNCH. There’s nothing better.

If you aren’t quite the wine type, don’t worry! There’s plenty of stuff for you to do as well. Fayette and Washington Counties are home to several great breweries, pubs and bars. What’s even better is these are all family-friendly!

And you know there is going to be great food too. Whether you are in the mood for just a snack, looking to fill your belly, or want to finish off the day with a sweet treat, you are sure to find just what you are looking for.

Tackling the Trail

The Wine Trail map will include all participating businesses. Be sure to swing by Round Top Real Estate and try out the two wines we will be featuring! We will have a table set up on the front porch along with a few snacks to tie you over.

Start time is 11:00 and you can go to as many or as few of the participating locations as you want! It’s a very relaxing and fun way to spend your Saturday!

Get Your Tickets Today

Purchase your tickets ahead of time and only worry about check-in on Saturday. After you check in you will get a commemorative wine-sampling glass and a map of all participating locations.

If you are unsure of your schedule, tickets may be purchased the day of, however a wine glass isn’t guaranteed (just depends on the amount of glasses that are left over).

Exploring Round Top

Wine Fest is always a great way to explore Round Top. It’s an excellent opportunity to get outside and visit all of our wonderful year-round businesses!
