Round Top Music Festival
Since 1971, Round Top Festival Insititute has offered a 6-week program for musicians seeking a professional career. This prestigious program focuses on symphony orchestra, chamber orchestra, chamber music, and solo repertoire. Beginning June 2 and running through July 13, there are several performances featuring these musicians. For more information and tickets visit festivalhill.org.
Movie Night on the Square
La Grange Main Street hosts a weekly movie night on the square Fridays in June. Come out to the Fayette County Courthouse Lawn to enjoy live music, snacks, kid's activities, and of course a great family-appropriate movie!
Round Top 4th of July Parade
2024 marks the 174th Round top 4th of July Parade! The community parade is known as "the longest running Fourth of July celebration west of the Mississippi"! The day starts with the firing of the cannon on the town square, followed by a parade well worth the drive! Afterwards, enjoy a BBQ meal at the Round top Rifle Hall, live music, and a raffle drawing! Hot Nights, Cool Tunes – Brenham
Just down the road in Brenham is one of the most popular summer events in the area - Hot Nights, Cool Tunes! 2024 marks the 20th anniversary of the concert series. Beginning July 6 and held the following Saturdays in July, head to downtown with your lawn chairs, ready for a good time. Bands will perform live music and vendors will be set up around the courthouse selling food and drinks. Click here for the full line-up.
