Things to do in the Spring in Round Top
The Round Top Antique & Design Show has just begun, and visitors are flocking to Fayette County. While these next three weeks will be very Round Top-centered, there are plenty of other things to add to your calendar for the next few months.
Fayetteville, La Grange, Bellville, Burton, Columbus, and Brenham are all just a short 10 – 20 minute drive from Round Top. The country roads are packed with beautiful wildflowers this time of year, so it’s the perfect time to come visit and see the sites.
Round Top
Round Top Festival Institute’s annual Gala will be held Saturday, April 13. Funds from the evening will go towards the Round Top Music Festival musicians. The night will consist of a dinner catered by Royer's Cafe, music, live and silent auctions, and talks from past students. Tickets may be purchased at the website.
Gardenia E. Janssen’s annual fundraising event is set for May 4 at Market Hill 2, located at 1542 N Hwy 237 in Round Top. This Derby-themed brunch will raise funds to benefit the shelter. The day will also include a Derby hat contest, live music, an auction and much more.
