Grover & Charlotte Hillbolt, Broker/Owners

rtre@cvctx.com

Grover and Charlotte first bought Round Top property in about 1962. We have owned property near Round Top for over 40 years. First as typical Houstonian week-enders, then moving here permanently in 1987. Having experienced the area for some time, the shock of moving from one of the largest cities in Texas to one of the smallest was not extremely difficult.

Grover retired in 1987 after 31 years with IBM, where he enjoyed a successful career on large system computers. He now enjoys helping folks to find that perfect property in the country.

Charlotte was a private Piano Teacher until 1980. During that time she was a member and an officer in Treble Clef and Tuesday Music Club. She entered real estate in 1980.

Round Top Real Estate, formed in 1989, is committed to service in assisting folks in the purchase or sale of real estate. Our relaxed style has allowed us a steady growth and the added rewards of many friendships over the years.

Our goal is to treat our customers as we would like to be treated and in an unhurried, relaxed manner.

JoAnn Moss-Ayres, Broker Associate

RealtorJoAnnMossAyres@gmail.com

After an early career in Houston and Austin working for commercial developers, I decided to live my dream and began listing and selling farm and ranch land and residential properties in Hays and Travis counties.

In 1994 I moved to Round Top, married Shakespeare professor Jim Ayres, and we bought a farmhouse, much to the delight of our children and later the 13 grandchildren we acquired along the way.  We love the country life and all that it takes to live in the country.

Since joining Round Top Real Estate in 1996, I have been a consistent top producer, turning clients into friends as they achieve their dreams of life in the country.  Ours is a unique area with a concentration on cultural events - such as UT's Shakespeare at Winedale and Camp Shakespeare programs and classical music at Festival Institute - as well as the expected agriculture pursuits and charming shops and restaurants, numerous festivals, scores of dedicated philanthropists and good quality of life in general.

Please let me know how I can help you with your real estate needs.  I am committed to service, honesty and integrity in business and in everyday life.  I hope to see you soon.

Diane Langley, Realtor Associate

dianelangleyrt@gmail.com

We moved to this area in 2002 from El Paso. That was certainly a change in scenery-the Chihuahuan Desert to the rolling hills of Fayette County-but that's another story. We knew we wanted to move to the country, at least my husband did. I was a city girl and wasn't sure about country living. But I've loved it and every day I thank God that we live in this beautiful area. There is so much to do and one can be as busy and involved as desired. One of my favorite pastimes seems to be sitting on my back porch and watching the wildlife. We routinely see deer, squirrels, armadillos, raccoons, and even a skunk or two. We have blue jays, cardinals, ducks, egrets, and humming birds. Of course, there are also vultures, kestrels, and owls. My husband has seen foxes and we hear coyotes yipping in the late evenings, though I've only seen one or two. Since moving here I've seen fireflies for the first time since I was a kid-and we won't talk about how long ago that was.

We decided on this particular area because of the excellent reputation of the Round Top-Carmine schools. We're raising our granddaughter, who is now at the junior high in Carmine. I've been very pleased with the education system here. I've appreciated the smaller classes and more personal approach that is possible in a smaller setting.

About a year after moving here, I decided a part-time job was in order. Through my volunteering with the RT-C Parents Club, I met one of our other agents and that led to meeting Grover and Charlotte Hillbolt, Broker/Owners of Round Top Real Estate, who were looking for a part-time office administrator. I had the skills and they hired me. Through that I learned a lot about the real estate business and, with the encouragement of Grover and Charlotte, I got my real estate agent's license. It's been a great experience.

I have experience as a buyer's agent and as a listing agent. I love meeting folks and helping them find just the right property for them. Or if they are looking to sell, I can help them by providing a Comparative Market Analysis of their property and determining the best marketing strategy for the listing.

Give me a call and let's talk over your needs and desires for country property!
